Known particularly as a performer and teacher of Gaelic traditional music, Gillebrìde has a full calendar of appearances in Scotland and beyond. ![]() In addition to Tintin, has translated several literary works into Gaelic, including Trithead Ceum ’s a Naoi (John Buchan’s The Thirty Nine Steps), Shakespeare’s Romeo agus Juliet and Walter Scott’s Waverley for ebook publishers Giglets in partnership with Storlànn and the Gaelic Books Council.
